This project began as a blank canvas, with the aim of creating a welcoming and versatile guest bedroom that felt calm and thoughtfully styled.
To bring structure and visual interest to the room, a feature wall was introduced using beaded panelling. This subtle detail creates a natural focal point behind the bed, elevating the space while maintaining a soft and understated feel.
To enhance the quality of light in this west-facing room, the space was colour drenched in Skimming Stone by Farrow & Ball. The warm neutral tones shift beautifully throughout the day, helping the room feel bright yet restful.
An oak floor was selected alongside coordinating furniture to bring warmth and continuity to the design, tying seamlessly with the existing doors and creating a sense of harmony throughout the space.
The project was initially presented through CGI visualisations, allowing the client to confidently see how the finished room could look before implementation began. The completed result closely reflects the original concept, demonstrating how thoughtful visualisation can help bring clarity and confidence to the design process.
The result is a serene and inviting guest bedroom — simple in concept, but refined in execution, offering both comfort and quiet elegance.
