This project focused on making the most of a compact bedroom where space quickly became limited once a double bed was introduced. The challenge was to maximise storage without compromising comfort or the overall sense of openness.
To address this, we designed a bespoke wardrobe within the existing alcove, transforming an underused area into practical, full-height storage. This approach keeps the footprint efficient while maintaining clear floor space around the bed.
The existing carpet was replaced with LVT flooring, helping the room feel more open and continuous while still providing a warm, comfortable surface underfoot—ideal for a bedroom setting.
A soft, neutral palette was chosen to create a calm and restful environment, with tones that work gently with the natural light to enhance the sense of space.
The result is a well-balanced bedroom that feels both functional and relaxing—proof that even smaller rooms can deliver comfort, storage, and simplicity without compromise.
